WHEREAS, on June 19 , 1984, City Council passed a
resolution awarding a bid to Baytown Construction Co. , Inc. for
Contract 14A, Washington Blvd. Sanitary Sewer Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being proposed to allow for
an overlay course of asphalt needed in several areas along the sewer
route to level up the street surface;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Baytown Construction Co. ,
Inc. for Contract 14A, Washington Blvd. Sanitary Sewer Improvements
increasing the contract amount from $1 ,045,906 to $1 ,055,656 .
