R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 22, 1985, bids were received for the
purchase of aluminum pipe and gate valves for construction of an
outfall ditch at the Landfill; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
Seabreeze Culvert, Inc. , Stowell, Texas
228 feet 54" Aluminum Pipe $ 9 ,621.60
3 each 54" Sluice Gates 9 ,690 .60
Ferguson Enterprises
3 each 54" Flap Gates $ 8 ,378. 22
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by Seabreeze Culvert, Inc. and Ferguson Enterprises are the
lowest and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Seabreeze Culvert, Inc. in the amount of
$19 ,312.20 and Hagan Fence Company in the amount of $8,378 . 22 for the
purchase of aluminum pipe and gate valves for construction of an
outfall ditch at the Landfill are hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1985.
