WHEREAS, on June 17 , 1985, bids were received for the
construction of sidewalks at the following locations:
Fourth Street - East side from Washington to Virginia
Hale Street - North side from Magnolia to Pine
and,
WHEREAS, Greer Construction Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $134,865; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Greer Construction Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Greer Construction Company in the amount of
$134,865 for construction of sidewalks as listed above is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of — 1985.
