R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 1 , 1985, bids were received for a six-
month contract for the purchase of approximately 4 ,000 tons of
oyster shell; and,
WHEREAS, Radcliff Materials, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $14.00/ton; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Radcliff Materials, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Radcliff Materials, Inc. in the amount of
$14 .00/ton for a six-month contract for the purchase of
approximately 4 ,000 tons of oyster shell is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
