R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont awarded Contract 15A-Sanitary
Sewer Rehabilitation, to Teal Constracting Co. in the amount of
$771,477.55; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 has been recommended to provide
for the adjustment of bid item quantities to reflect actual material
and work performed; to extend the contract completion date to
account for seventy-eight (78) rain-out days; and for payment to
increase the length of a concrete junction box to avoid an existing
telephone conduit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2 to Contract 15A-Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation with
Teal Contracting, Co. increasing the contract amount to $867,333 .70
and make final payment to Teal Contracting Co. in the amount of
$8,902.62.
