WHEREAS, City Council passed a resolution awarding a bid
to John Bankston Construction Co. on September 18 , 1984 for
construction of the Longfellow Interceptor project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is being proposed to allow for
the lowering of a 24" storm sewer under the railroad which was
necessary to allow for the replacement of the new street pavement at
a cost of $3 ,762 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2 to the contract with John Bankston Construction
Co. for construction of the Longfellow Interceptor increasing the
contract amount by $3 ,762.00 to $2 ,025,968.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
