WHEREAS, on July 8 , 1985, bids were received for the
purchase of 150 tons of hydrated lime for soil stabilization at the
Landfill; and,
WHEREAS, Austin White Lime Company of Austin, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $10,969 .50; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Austin White Lime Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Austin White Lime Company for the purchase
of 150 tons of hydrated lime for soil stabilization at the Landfill
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1985.
