BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the preliminary official statement of the City of Beaumont
dated June 18 , 1985, relating to the sale of approximately $50
million of Advance Refunding Bonds, Series 1985, be, and the same
is hereby , approved and the City Attorney , the firm of Orgain, Bell
and Tucker, the firm of Vinson and Elkins, and Underwood, Neuhaus
and Company be, and the same are hereby, authorized to make changes
to said document as necessary to accurately reflect the conditions
of the City of Beaumont necessary to such official statement. The
underwriters are hereby authorized to proceed with bond sale.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
