BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
agreements to employ the firms of Orgain, Bell and Tucker as
securities counsel; Vinson and Elkins as bond counsel; Underwood,
Neuhaus and Company as fiscal agent; and Ernst and Whinney as
certified public accountant in connection with issuance by the City
of Beaumont of approximately $50 million of Advance Refunding
Bonds, Series 1985.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authorized to pay, from the proceeds of the sale, the
fees and expenses of Orgain, Bell and Tucker, Vinson and Elkins,
Underwood, Neuhaus and Company, and Ernst and Whinney in accordance
with the agreements herein authorized.
