WHEREAS, City Council passed a resolution awarding a bid
to Sterling Utilities Co. for Contract 17D, Broadway Separation
Sewers;
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being proposed to provide
cement stabilized sand backfill material;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Sterling Utilities Co.
for Contract 17D, Broadway Separation Sewers increasing the contract
amount by $192,501.17 for a total contract amount of $2 ,607,041 . 17 .
