R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in 1983, First Federal Savings and Loan
Association overpaid the taxes on 5 4/5 ft. of Lot 1 , Block 1 ,
Caldwood Addition by Six Hundred Forty One Dollars and Six Cents
($641.06) ; and,
WHEREAS, state law requires that where the amount is
greater than Five Hundred Dollars ($500) , the City Council must
approve a refund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council approves the refund to First Federal Savings
and Loan Association for its overpayment of 1983 taxes on 5 4/5 ft.
of Lot 1 , Block 1 , Caldwood Addition in the amount of Six Hundred
Forty One Dollars and Six Cents ($641 .06) .
