WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of four
one-megabyte memory boards; and,
WHEREAS, EMC Corporation submitted a bid in the amount of
$6,000; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by EMC Corporation is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by EMC Corporation for the purchase of four
one-megabyte memory boards is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and that a maintenance agreement in the amount of $1 ,140
with Prime Computer, Inc. be approved.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
