WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for right-of-way
acquisition for Spur 380 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following parcels of land for Spur 380 be,
and the same is hereby , approved:
Parcel 227: 8 ,965 square feet out of Lots 11, 12,
and 13, Block 15 of the Ogden Addition
Owner: Mr. L. J . Rouen and
Mrs. Myra Glynn Rouen Stewart
Value: $17,000
Parcel 234: 6 ,743 square feet out of Lot 6 , Block
12 of the Blanchette 2nd Addition
Owner: James Harold Blackwell
Value: $13,500
Parcel 236: 6 ,761 square feet out of Lot 4 , Block
12 of the Blanchette 2nd Addition
Owner: Westside Church of Christ of
Beaumont
Value: $7,775
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby , authorized to execute instruments granting easements to
Kansas City Southern Railroad Company for the relocation of their
railroad facilities and conveying the property to the State on
Parcels 227, 234, and 236 heretofor acquired by the City of
Beaumont.
