WHEREAS, on February 5 , 1985, City Council passed a
resolution for the purchase of chemical feed equipment needed to
replace defective equipment installed by the contractor, Midwest
Mechanical Contractors, Inc. at the Water Treatment Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being proposed for repair
kits to be furnished by the vendor of the equipment in place of the
spare parts required by the contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Midwest Mechanical
Contractors, Inc. , increasing the contract amount to $52,682.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
