WHEREAS, on January 28 , 1985, bids were received for
construction of the Westgate Participation Project; and,
WHEREAS, Doty Construction Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $67,141.60 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Doty Construction Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Doty Construction Company be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into a contract with Doty Construction Company for construction
of the Westgate Participation Project in the amount of $67,141.60 .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
