WHEREAS, on July 31 , 1984, a contract was awarded to Petro-
Tex Construction Company in the amount of $129,088.63 for the School
Sidewalk Program; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed according to the
plans and specifications at a cost to the city of $2 ,401 .29 above the
revised contract price;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the School Sidewalk Program is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to make final payment to Petro-Tex Construction Company in the amount
of $6 ,725.85.
