WHEREAS, in August, 1984, the City awarded a contract to
Lester Saucier and Sons Enterprises, Inc. for the restoration of
two windows at the Tyrrell Historical Library and the installation
of protective overglazing in a metal frame over the windows; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is being proposed to extend
the contract time from March 9 , 1985 to April 26, 1985 due to
inclement weather and delays in procurement of replacement glass
and also to add Five Hundred Eight-Five Dollars ($585) to the
contract sum to brace the third large stained glass window which
was damaged by a recent storm;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2 to the contract with Lester Saucier and Sons
Enterprises, Inc. for restorations at the Tyrrell Historical
Library for a total revised contract amount of $71 ,985.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
