WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of lightbars for the Police
Department's patrol vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, GT Distributors, Austin, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$1,734.90 each at a total cost of$43,372.50; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by GT Distributors,
Austin, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of$1,734.90 each at a total cost of$43,372.50 submitted by
GT Distributors, Austin, Texas, for the purchase of twenty-five (25) Code 3 LED X2100
Police vehicle lightbars be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 27th day of
January, 2004.
