R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for professional
transportation planning services for the Liberty/Laurel Corridor
Study; and,
WHEREAS, Lockwood, Andrews and Newman, Inc. , of Houston,
Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of $51,500; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Lockwood, Andrews and Newman, Inc. , is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Lockwood, Andrews and Newman, Inc. , be accepted by
the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract with Lockwood, Andrews and
Newman, Inc. , in the amount of $51,500 for professional
transportation planning services for the Liberty/Laurel Corridor
Study.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
