WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one-hundred
seventy-two ( 172) effluent weirs; and,
WHEREAS, Industrial Power & Rubber Inc. of Sulphur,
Louisiana, submitted a bid in the amount of $22,989.22; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Industrial Power & Rubber Inc. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Industrial Power & Rubber Inc. in the
amount of $22,989.22 for the purchase of one-hundred seventy-two
( 172) effluent weirs is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
