R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on February 4 , 1985, bids were received for the
the purchase of two ( 2) 20 cubic yard packer bodies mounted on City
cab/chassis for mechanized residential refuse pickup and one thousand
seven hundred (1 ,700) 90 to 100 gallon size refuse containers; and,
WHEREAS, Government Innovators, Inc. , of Phoenix, Arizona,
submitted a bid of $3 ,672.94/month for months 1 through 12 and
$33,124 .00/option payment for month 13 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Government Innovators, Inc. , is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Government Innovators, Inc. , be accepted by the City
of Beaumont, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into a contract with Government Innovators, Inc. , for a
mechanized refuse pickup system in the amount stated above for the
two 20 cubic yard packer bodies and 1 ,700 90 to 100 gallon size
refuse containers.
