WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for
right-of-way acquisition for Spur 380 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following parcels of land are hereby
approved:
Parcel 217: 7 ,026 square feet out of Lots 1 and
2 , Block 15, Ogden Addition (Whole
Taking)
Owner: Joseph E . O' Fiel
Value: $45,000
Parcel 219: 6 ,447 square feet, being all of Lot 3 ,
Block 15, Ogden Addition (Whole
Taking)
Owner: Irene McClure Cull
Value: $13,200
Parcel 220: 6 ,464 square feet, being all of Lot 4 ,
Block 15, Ogden Addition (Whole
Taking)
Owner: Irene McClure Cull
Value: $18 ,500
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby , authorized to execute instruments granting easements to
Kansas City Southern Railway Company for the relocation of their
railroad facilities and conveying the property to the State on
Parcels 217, 218 , 219 , 220, 221, 224 and 225 heretofor acquired by
the City of Beaumont.
