WHEREAS, child abuse and neglect is a major concern in
our community; and,
WHEREAS, in response to this concern, the Task Force for
the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect is being established;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Task Force for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect
be, and the same is hereby , established and that the following
persons be nominated as members:
Mayor William E . Neild (Chairman) Mary Ann Fiorenzo
Susanne Nichols ( Co-Chairman) Rev. Ben Shawhan
June Klein Judge Jim Farris
Frank Adams, Sr. Dr. Edmund Beck
Dick Pontious Doris Price Neeley
Bob Gay Sgt. Bill Davis
Joan Morrow
