WHEREAS, on May 29 , 1984, the City awarded a contract to
Teal Contracting Co. for rehabilitation of sanitary sewer lines in
all parts of the city; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being proposed to provide
for clearing debris from inside the line over a greater length than
was originally estimated, and repairing collapsed sections of the
line at a cost of $14,350 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Teal Contracting Co. for a
total revised contract amount of $785,827 .55 .
