WHEREAS, on January 28 , 1985 bids were received for
Contract 17-D Separation Sewer Central (Broadway Street System) ;
and,
WHEREAS, Sterling Utility Construction, Inc. submitted a
bid in the amount of $2 ,414,540 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Sterling Utility Construction, Inc. is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Sterling Utility Construction, Inc. be accepted by
the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract with Sterling Utility
Construction, Inc. in the amount of $2 ,414,540 for Contract 17-D
Separation Sewer Central (Broadway Street System) .
