WHEREAS, on February 11 , 1985 bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of sand and clay; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Materials submitted a bid of $1 .50 per
cubic yard for sand and $1 .50 per cubic yard for clay; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Beaumont Materials is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Beaumont Materials be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into a contract with Beaumont Materials in the amount stated
above for the purchase of sand and clay .
