R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on January 25, 1985, bids were received for
property insurance;
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
Coverage Company/Agent Bid
Property ( Fire, Extended Home Insurance/Sol $130, 288 (Total
Coverage, Vandalism, Wisenberg Agency Premium)
Malicious Mischief,
Data Processing and
Valuable Papers
Boiler and Machinery Hartford Steam $4 ,573 (Annual
Boiler/Sol Premium)
Wisenberg Agency
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted above are the lowest and best bids and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above are hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into a contract with the Sol Wisenberg Agency for property
insurance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby , authorized to instruct the Sol Wisenberg Agency to negotiate
a suitable policy for Difference in Condition.
