WHEREAS, on January 28 , 1985, bids were received for the
purchase and installation of carpet in the Police Department' s
Administration Offices; and,
WHEREAS, Porter' s of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in
the amount of $3 ,822.30 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Porter' s is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Porter' s in the amount of $3 ,822.30 for
the purchase and installation of carpet in the Police Department' s
Administration Offices is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
