R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to employ
the firms of Orgain, Bell and Tucker, and Vinson and Elkins to
serve as securities and bond counsel to the City of Beaumont in
connection with the proposed sale of $32 million in general
obligation street and drainage bonds, Series 1984, and certificates
of obligation for water and landfill closure and operations, Series
1984 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby , authorized to pay from the proceeds of the sale of the
bonds, fees and expenses to Orgain, Bell and Tucker based on an
hourly charge of $95.00 per hour, and to Vinson and Elkins fees and
expenses not to exceed $31,390.
