WHEREAS, on October 2 , 1984, a contract was awarded to Jim
Walters Construction Company in the amount of $10,677.20 for drainage
improvements to the Beaumont Municipal Library; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed according to the
plans and specifications at a cost to the city of $701.28 above the
revised contract price after Change Order No. 1 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the drainage improvements to the Beaumont Municipal Library
are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and that the City Manager
be, and he is hereby , authorized to make final payment to Jim Walters
Construction Company in the amount of $2,825.68 .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
