WHEREAS, on October 9 , 1984, a contract was awarded to A .
W. Busby Contracting, Inc . in the amount of $153,601 for construction
of the 1984 CDBG Street Rehabilitation Program; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed according to the
plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the construction of the 1984 CDBG Street Rehabilitation Program
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and that the City Manager
be, and he is hereby , authorized to make final payment to A. W. Busby
Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $6,441. 39 .
