WHEREAS, the owner of the property at 1895 McFaddin,
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas has made application to the City
under the provisions of Section 25-59 for tax exemption; and,
WHEREAS, the applicant has met all the requirements of
Article IV of Chapter 25 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Beaumont and the City Council believes the structure to be
historically significant and in need of tax relief to encourage
preservation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the property located at 1895 McFaddin Street, Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas be, and the same is hereby , certified as an
historically significant site in need of tax relief to encourage
preservation and shall be provided such tax relief in accordance
with Article IV of Chapter 25 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1985.
