WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of six (6 )
rotary type mowers for use in the Parks and Recreation Department;
and,
WHEREAS, Modern, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$6,825; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Modern, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Modern, Inc. in the amount of $6,825 for
the purchase of six (6 ) rotary type mowers for use in the Parks and
Recreation Department is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1985.
