WHEREAS, on November 12, 1984, bids were received for the
reconditioning of a vertical turbine pump; and,
WHEREAS, Peabody Floway of Houston, Texas submitted a bid
in the amount of $3 ,557; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Peabody Floway is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Peabody Floway in the amount of $3,557 for
the reconditioning of a vertical turbine pump is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
