WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one ( 1 )
vertical turret milling machine; and,
WHEREAS, Amalgamaated Supply Company of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $3 ,960 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Amalgamated Supply Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Amalgamated Supply Company in the amount
of $3 ,960.70 for the purchase of one ( 1 ) vertical turret milling
machine is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
