WHEREAS, the City awarded a contract to Midwest
Mechanical Contractors, Inc. for the Surface Water Treatment Plant
Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 is being proposed with the
inclusion of nine (9 ) items and to allow for one ( 1 ) additional day
for completion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 3 to the contract with Midwest Mechanical
Contractors, Inc. increasing the contract amount by $8 ,435.66 for a
total contract amount of $6,165,941 .10 .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1984 .
