R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to enter
into an agreement with Stewart Title Company to furnish title
opinions and polices related to the Concord Road T.I .P. Project at
an estimated cost to the city of Twenty-Three Thousand Dollars
($23,000) .

Thank you for your letter dated March 8, 1984 regarding providing
title services for the City of Beaumont.
Please be advised that our title plant has a complete geographical
index dating back to the sovereignty of the soil for Jefferson County
property. We feel therefore, we would be in an excellent position to
meet all requirements you might have regarding title work. For services
rendered, our fees would be as follows:
Plated Subdivisions. . . . . . .$50.00
Property in Acreage. . . . . . .$75.00
The above would apply only in the event we would not be issuing a title
policy, and therefore would charge for title work only.
