WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two ( 2 )
loader backhoes for use by the Water Distribution Division; and,
WHEREAS, Preco Machinery of Beaumont, Texas submitted a
bid in the amount of $56, 290 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Preco Machinery is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Preco Machinery in the amount of $56,290
for the purchase of two ( 2) loader backhoes for use by the Water
Distribution Division is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
