R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for engineering services in
relation to the development of a comprehensive street management
program for the City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, ARE, Inc. of Austin, Texas submitted a bid in an
amount not to exceed $80,000 if city personnel are utilized; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by ARE, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of ARE, Inc. be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to enter into a
contract. with ARE, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $80,000 if city
personnel are used, for the development of a comprehensive street
management program for the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
