WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a 1 1/2 ton
and a 2 ton stakebody truck to be used by the Parks and Recreation
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Kinsel Ford submitted a bid in the amount of
$16 ,692 for the 1 1/2 ton truck and $21 , 217 for the 2 ton truck;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Kinsel Ford is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Kinsel Ford in the amount of $16 ,692 for
the purchase of a 1 1/2 ton stakebody truck and $21,217 for the
purchase of a 2 ton stakebody truck is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
