WHEREAS, the City' s Building Maintenance Division and the
Water Utilities Department have accumulated varying amounts of
waste products associated with switchgears and transformers that
require removal to a special sanitary landfill; and,
WHEREAS, the City has inventoried its materials and has
determined that a small amount of these waste products must be
transported to the special landfill as soon as practical;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to engage
Rollins Environmental Services to pick up the products, haul them
to the proper site, and dispose of them at a cost to the city of
$3,872. 48.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
