R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 23, 1984, bids were received for the
paving of Shelby Drive from 135 feet south of Doty Drive a distance
of 330 feet to a point 140 feet north of Gross and storm drainage
along Riggs Street from Calhoun to Drainage District 6' s drainage
ditch; and,
WHEREAS, Russ Miller Construction Company submitted a bid
in the amount of $204,798.41 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Russ Miller Construction Company is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Russ Miller Construction Company be accepted by the
City of Beaumont, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract with Russ Miller Construction
Company in the amount of $204,798.41 , for the paving of Shelby
Drive from 135 feet south of Doth Drive a distance of 330 feet to a
point 140 feet north of Gross and storm drainage along Riggs Street
from Calhoun to Drainage District 6 ' s drainage ditch; and,
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
