WHEREAS, on May 1 , 1984 the City of Beaumont awarded a
contract to J & L Construction Company in the amount of $26,974
for the cleaning and painting of the 1 . 0 M .G. water storage tank
located at Sabine Pass and Harriot Streets; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the cleaning and painting of the 1 . 0 M.G. water storage tank
located at Sabine Pass and Harriot Streets is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont and that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby , authorized to make final payment to J & L Construction
Company in the amount of $7, 552.72.
