R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 29 , 1984, the City Council passed
Resolution 84-188 authorizing the City Manager to execute a deed
selling a tract of surplus land originally acquired for the Phelan
Boulevard Project to the Adjacent property owner; and,
WHEREAS, the subject property has been leased with an
option to buy pending partial release of a stipulation in the deed
requiring that the purchaser would sell the property back to the
city for the purchase price originally paid for it if a future need
for the property developed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, authorized to execute an agreement
releasing that portion of the property which is the north half of
the vacated 12 foot alley south of Lots 4 and 5 in Block 24 of the
jarrette Addition to the City of Beaumont from the ten ( 10) year
buy back stipulation.
