R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 9 , 1984, bids were received for the
construction of sidewalks at nine (9 ) locations; and,
WHEREAS, Petro-Tex Construction Company submitted a bid
in the amount of $129,088.63 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Petro-Tex Construction Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Petro-Tex Construction Company be accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby ,
authorized to enter into a contract with Petro-Tex Construction
Company in the amount of $129 ,088. 63 for the construction of
sidewalks.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
