WHEREAS, by Resolution 83-347, the City Manager was
authorized to amend an agreement with Jefferson County Drainage
District No. 6 to provide for a crossing of the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company right-of-way with the Cartwright/Corley
Drainage Channel at a cost to the city of $23,857. 93 including Change
Order No. 1 ; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed according to the
plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT :
THAT the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company right-of-way
crossing at the Cartwright/Corley Drainage Channel is hereby accepted
by the City of Beaumont and that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby , authorized to make final payment to Drainage District No. 6
in the amount of $947. 44.
