R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 14, 1984 bids were received for the
rental of five (5 ) 14 cubic yard dump trucks with operators for the
hauling of cover for the Pine Street Landfill; and,
WHEREAS, Donald Barber Truck Service of Vidor, Texas
submitted the following bid:
Cost/Per Load Cost/Per Hour Cost/Per Month
$27. 00 $27.00 $4 ,320
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Donald Barber Truck Service is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Donald Barber Truck Service in the amount
stated above for the hauling of cover for the Pine Street Landfill
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
