R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 8 , 1984, the City Council awarded the bid
for a remote control console radio to General Electric Company of
Houston, Texas in the amount of $17,633 ; and,
WHEREAS, General Electric Company has refused to honor
their bid; and,
WHEREAS, the next low bidder, Trinity Communications of
Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of $20,000 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Trinity Communications is the best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT :
THAT the bid submitted by Trinity Communications in the amount of
$20,000 for the purchase of a remote control console radio is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
