WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont entered into a contract
with Saucier and Sons Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of
$1, 089,740. 50 for Contract 5 - Sanitary Sewer Improvements/Segment
66, Sabine Pass Interceptor; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is being recommended to
adjust actual quantities of materials installed and to adjust the
contract completion date;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2 to the contract with Saucier and Sons
Enterprise, Inc. , and to award final payment to same for Contract
5-Sanitary Sewer Improvements/Segment 66 , Sabine Pass Interceptor,
in the amount of $70,967. 32.
