R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMO NT
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute an
amendment to the contract with Mental Health Mental Retardation for
grounds maintenance, of the area bounded by College Street, Calder
Street, Main Street, and Neches Street at a cost of Ten Thousand
Dollars ( $10,000) for the five ( 5 ) month period from May 1 , 1984
through September 30, 1984.

The types of services to be performed on the properties
listed above are as follows:
1 ) Debris Disposal - All litter and debris will be
bagged and transported away from the site or placed
in the proper containers as approved by the City;
2 ) Sweeping - All areas shall be swept as needed;
3 ) Weed Control - All weeds will be sprayed in an effort
to control their growth.

The City will pay MHMR a fee not to exceed Ten Thousand
Dollars ( $10,000) at a rate of Two Thousand Dollars ( $2 ,000) per
month for services rendered from May 1 , 1984 through September 30 ,
1984.
In Witness Whereof , the City of Beaumont, a municipal
corporation, and MHMR, have executed this agreement on the
day of 1984.
